Massage at work is simply the introduction of fully-clothed chair massages for employees in the workplace.

Employees just pop along to a meeting room and sit in a professional massage chair that is brought along by one of our chair massage therapists.

Each massage can be between, 10 and 30 minutes at a time, this includes work on the back, head, neck and shoulders, the massage gives them a short break in their day to de-stress and boost their productivity.

The amount of pressure used by our therapists is totally up to the staff. We don’t use oil and our technique targets pressure points that release muscular tension & stress whilst energising the person to return to work feeling appreciated, happy, relaxed and invigorated. (Not forgetting more productive)

It’s a great way for staff to receive a massage at work to improve staff’s health, productivity & morale. : )

Office Massage is when a massage therapist comes into your Workplace, to relax and de-stress everyone, benefiting both the employee and the company.

Office Massage takes place in a specially designed massage chair in a quiet room or at your desk and takes place through your clothing so requires no messy oils.

First, contact us to book date then at your appointment time, then one of our an experienced office massage therapist’s will arrive at your workplace with a specially designed massage chair and some chilled funky music (if you wish) so they can provide wonderful massages to all your staff.

All your staff have to do is get in the massage chair and completely stop for a bit and enjoy our office massage service.

As the massages are shorter than 30 minutes they will, in fact, get back on with their work with clearer thinking and have more creativity.

They’ll also feel appreciated by the company so their attitude and productivity will be much better too.

Sure Thing. For smaller companies, our minimum booking time is 2 hours. So you can divide 120 minutes between how many of you want a massage.

For larger companies, you can book as many massage therapists as you require. We can always find cover if your therapist is away or unwell as we have over 60 experienced massage therapists working with us in our Walk-in backrub shops or visiting companies.

Walk-in Backrub is covered up to 10 million for public liability insurance & all our all our in office masseuses carry professional indemnity and public liability insurance of up to 5 million.

All our Walk-in Backrub therapists certificates and insurance are available on request.

Yes! We can provide chair massage gift vouchers that you can buy for your staff as rewards, or for other companies you do business with.

Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months and can be redeemed in any of our Walk-in Backrub branches

We have many massage therapists who have been working with us in our shops and visiting companies for over 10 years so we’ll always ensure we place our most experienced therapists with your company.

All our massage therapists are qualified in their own right but to work with Walk-in Backrub, they must attend our own intensive Shiatsu chair massage course, then complete one to one training with our personal chair massage tutor who has worked with us for 17 years.

And finally, pass an assessment to get through.

Our therapists are then ready to work in our walk-in backrub shops, and from there we get to know them well, so we can match companies with the right therapists.

From our experience, little and often has better benefits for the company than long massages.

Most of our companies opt for 10 minutes for each person because they have more than 20 employees and want as many people as possible in the office to receive a massage.

Even a 10-minute chair massage provides enough time for a person to release tension and relax and yet be ready to get back on with their work feeling appreciated relaxed and more productive.

A quiet space or meeting room is ideal as this allows employees to completely switch off for 10 minutes or so.

If this isn’t possible a quiet corner will suffice as our massage chairs don’t take up a lot of space : )

Our chair massages are performed fully clothed and you just wear whatever you are wearing to work. (Although cotton is much better for the therapist to massage through rather than synthetic material.

No messy oils are used during the massage and no need to get undressed.

Our fully qualified office masseuse will bring a relaxing massage chair and their magic hands and if you wish some funky chilled music.

All you have to do is to provide a small space for us. (a quiet room is the best place if you want to get the most out of the massages)

All our office masseuses are fully insured.

It’s very difficult to say how each individual will feel exactly, as we are all different, but it’s very unusual that someone doesn’t feel relaxed, happier or improved after receiving a backrub!

If you are booking an Office Massage session for the first time, we accept payment by credit card and then after that we will send an invoice each month or after each session.

Who pays for the massage?

We usually work with companies who pay for the office massage service or covers some of the cost as part of their employee’s health and well-being program.

How the all-day office massage session works.

One of our experienced chair massage therapists will visit your office for the day with a relaxing backrub chair, some funky chilled music (if you wish) and their magic hands, to massage every one to help them relax and release tension.

You can choose how long for each massage and how many people, as we will be there all day for you. (10:00am – 5;00pm)

It’s really simple to organise a massage day or a regular office massage program.

You can then choose any time and weekday that works best for you and before your massage therapist visits your office, we’ll email you a booking time slot schedule for you to add staff names. : )

Yes! If you are interested in booking regular office massages with Walk-in Backrub at least once a month, then we are more than happy to offer you and your company free massages so you can experience the quality of our massages for yourselves.

Minimum booking time:
We have a 2 hour minimum booking time to send massage practitioners to your company.

Payment methods:

For ongoing clients:

Our preferred method of payment is by BACS direct to our bank account. We will email you an invoice each month or after every visit.

For one off bookings, you can either:

  1. Make a payment over the phone using any major debit or credit card.

    We can confirm your massage booking while you’re on the phone.
  2. Book on-line from our website

You can book and confirm your office massage session now on-line. Just select how many hours you require, add to your basket and complete the checkout process. Once booked we will contact you to confirm a date that is suitable for you.

Cancellation Policy:
If a booking is cancelled within 48 hours of the booking, we may charge a 50% cancellation fee.

Guarantee
We’re confident that we provide and maintain a very high level of office massage service. But if for any reason, you’re not satisfied with our service, we will offer a full refund. Ifs it’s an individual that’s not satisfied, then we are happy to send them some free massage gift vouchers to use in our shops.
